BL-Mannanase

Mannase enzymes have a vital role in industrial applications. In the food and beverage sector, they provide a variety of functions. Mannans can be broken down and made more digestible or functional by using mannanase in the creation of food additives and nutritional supplements. In the brewing business, mannans found in barley can lead to issues with filtration and beer haze.
In the oil and gas sector, mannans are useful. In drilling fluids, they serve as viscosifiers, which can obstruct the flow of oil while it is being extracted. The viscosity of drilling fluids is decreased and oil flow is facilitated by the use of mannanase enzymes to break down these mannans.
Mannanase enzymes are used in animal feed formulations as well. In particular for monogastric animals like chicken and pigs, they are added to animal diets.
